JediTank Steps To The Mic – Listen Up!

State of the Tuff Nation

Start by introducing the newsletter and what you want to get out of it…how fresh it is, taking Tuff to the next level, etc…add something timely with the league like “heading into the last 4 weeks” or “Season 8 is shaping up to be the best ever”…you can see how much room we have here…keep it fairly brief

Tuff Reminder…

Bust balls a little to motivate owners to do game recaps, stats, etc…Give them something to take action with…tell them how important their communication is…tell them they are doing a great job…something along these lines…

Using the Passing Cone and the R2 Button

If you use the R2 method to look at a receiver, I have discovered that you do not have to release R2 button to pass. Press and hold R2, press the button of the receiver you want to look at, and press button again and QB will pass to that receiver. You can still look at different receivers by simply pressing a different receivers button (while still holding R2), it's only after you press a receiver's button the second time consecutively that the QB will throw. So if you aren't as nimble fingered as you'd like, this can make passing simpler.

1. Before the snap pick an unlikely receiver as your primary (the cone will be on this receiver at the snap) this is to distract the Defense as to your intended target.
2. Snap the ball and press R2 while dropping back drop back with your stick/D pad first: if you press R2 first the QB may stop moving and not respond to your stick, but if you use your L stick or D pad first and then press R2 he's fine and you can run him around as normal.
3. Read the Defense and when you pick your receiver, double press the receiver's button the cone will snap to him and the QB will throw. You can use precision passing too on the second button press.
